Calvary Prayer Meeting

“What is the goal of the Christian life? It is godliness born of obedience to Christ. Obedience unlocks the riches of the Christian experience. Prayer prompts and nurtures obedience, putting the heart into the proper “frame of mind” to desire obedience.” R.C. Sproul

«The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Psalms 34:17

Prayer is as important to our Christian life as food is to our physical life. In fact, we are not just provided the opportunity to pray, but commanded to pray. Due to the weakness of the flesh, we tend to find excuses for not praying, like I don’t have the time or I’m just not good at it. And truth be told, if it was just up to us, we would continue to fail in this area. But God has given us the Holy Spirit who empowers us to commune with the Father and helps us to find the words. Join us on Friday mornings as we join for corporate prayer. We pray

Each week we come before the Lord, seeking His guidance and wisdom over our facility, leaders, prayer requests as well as our community and much more. Come join us this Friday at 6:30 am. >

Men's Bible Study

Men’s Ministry is all about Men of God, Living the Will of God, in our families, home, church and community. We are about practicing, on a daily basis, 1 Timothy 6:11-12. We want to be men who pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, goodness. We are committed to fighting the good fight of faith back-to-back. We are committed to Proverbs 27:17 as it relates to mentorship among men. We want to have men’s hearts that reveal the man in Proverbs 27:19. Our motivation for Living the Will of God is predicated upon the imminent return of Christ (Hebrews 10:19-25).

1 Timothy 6:11-12 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Proverbs 27: 17 As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

Proverbs 27:19 As in water face reflects face, so a man’s heart reveals the man.

Hebrews 10:19-25 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

The School of Biblical Evangelism

In this “The School of Biblical Evangelism” study by: Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort, you will learn how to share your faith simply, effectively, and biblically―the way Jesus did. Discover the God–given evangelistic tools that will enable you to confidently talk about your Lord and Savior. With 101 lessons, this course will help you to prove the authenticity of the bible, provide ample evidence for creation, understand the beliefs of cults and other religions, and learn how to reach both friends and strangers with the Gospel. Tremendous witnessing tool for individuals and for church evangelism classes

Kirk’s Comment: This teaching is critically important. To be properly instructed in how to effectively reach the lost with the gospel, you must begin with the biblical foundation for evangelism. Read this lesson very thoughtfully. Don’t let anything distract you as you discover what Charles Spurgeon called “our ablest auxiliary”–that is, our most powerful weapon.
