Men’s Ministry is all about Men of God, Living the Will of God, in our families, home, church and community.
We are about practicing, on a daily basis, 1 Timothy 6:11-12. We want to be men who pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, goodness. We are committed to fighting the good fight of faith back-to-back. We are committed to Proverbs 27:17 as it relates to mentorship among men. We want to have men’s hearts that reveal the man in Proverbs 27:19. Our motivation for Living the Will of God is predicated upon the imminent return of Christ (Hebrews 10:19-25).
1 Timothy 6:11-12 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Proverbs 27: 17 As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
Proverbs 27:19 As in water face reflects face, so a man’s heart reveals the man.
Hebrews 10:19-25 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
